Promotion Manager

The Promotion Manager is your central hub for managing all content. Here, you can quickly view key details for each item and take necessary actions. Each piece of content you create will appear in this section, categorized by its content type.

How does it work?

Each piece of content created appears in this section, depending on the type of content where it appears.

Promotion Manager Actions

Find content → Search for items by name.

Toggle Enabled/Disabled → Turn content on or off to control its ability to appear on-screen.

Edit content → Modify the design of your existing content.

Filter by status → Quickly sort your content list based on its current state.

Show archive → Toggle on/off to display or hide archived items.

Quick creation → Use the Create New Content or Design in Canva buttons to build new designs instantly.

Delete content → Permanently remove an item from your manager.

Preview content → See exactly how the content will play on-screen.

Block content → Prevent specific content from showing (Note: This action is only available for inherited content).

FAQs

How do you preview your content?

You can preview a single piece of content by clicking the Eye icon located in the Actions column.

How do you distinguish the inherited content from your own content?

Inherited content is marked with an Inherited badge. Some actions are restricted for these items—for example, you cannot edit the design of inherited content, but you can assign availability rules to control when it appears on your screens, or block it entirely.

What do the statuses columns mean? 

You can quickly determine the state of any item by checking its status column:

• Active → This content is turned on and has an assigned schedule.

• Org Prohibited → This content is restricted by your organization’s parent-level settings. It won’t appear on your screens, even if scheduled.

• Disabled → This content is turned off. It won’t show up on-screen until re-enabled.

• Pending Review → The content is waiting for approval and won't show up until you approve or decline it.

• Draft → The content won't show up on screen until you finish editing it.

• Declined → The content was rejected and won't show up on screen.

• Blocked → The inherited content won't show up on screen until you unblock it.

• Upcoming → The content is the next item in the sequence to appear on the screen.

• No Schedule → The content won't appear on screen until you assign it a schedule.
