Use Spotlights to create promotions, education, and general announcements. Each layout can be customized with your own brand.

We are based on the primary resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
How to create a spotlight using the platform?

There are a few different ways to create your own spotlight. View the instructions for each option, or watch the video tutorials!
Option 1: Promotion Manager

On the side toolbar, under Promote label select the Promotion Manager.
Click Create New Content in the top right corner.
You can customize the background in the Background tab by dragging and dropping, or by selecting an image or PDF, or by linking a YouTube video or a video file from your desktop.
You can add text in the Customize tab and apply design styles as needed.
Name the spotlight, enabled it and schedule.
Option 2: Content Creator

On the side toolbar, under the Promote label, click on Content Creator.
Select the type of spotlight you would like to create from the given options, text, video or image, PDF, or Youtube.
Option 3: Create a design using our Canva Integration
Option 3: Create a design using our Canva Integration
On the side toolbar, under the Promote label, click on Content Creator.
Select Canva Image and choose Horizontal.
Allow Access to your Canva Account. This is a security measure; Canva will ask each time!
You can use the available templates or select your existing content from the "Projects" folder in the left navigation bar. Be sure to name your creation so you can easily find it later!
All Canva designs are in video format, so before you finish your design, make sure to click the duration button at the bottom left-hand side and set it to your desired duration.
Once you are done creating your design, click Return to Shift in the upper right-hand corner. This button will take you back to the ContentCreator page, and your new design will come with it!
Title, Enable, Schedule, and Save your new spotlight. It will now appear at the top of your Promotion Manager.
If you want to edit your Spotlight, click it, then click the purple "Edit on Canva" button.
