What is the Clock app?

The application provides a real-time clock interface that displays the current time, date, and day of the week, formatted according to the organization's time zone.

How to use?

The Clock App only needs to be customized:

• name → used to find the experience later in the Promotion Manager.

How to Get Started:

To begin creating your weather experience, you can:

• From Content Creator:

  1. Open the Manager Platform.

  2. Go to the Content Creator section in the left-hand menu.

  3. Search for the Clock App and select it.

  4. Name your instance to help you identify it later.

  5. Save this content.

  6. Configure any availability rules.

  7. Click Save and Close.
     
     

• From Promotion Manager:

  1. Open the Manager Platform.

  2. Go to the Promotion Manager section in the left-hand menu.

  3. Click the Browse Apps button.

  4. Search for the Clock App and select it.

  5. Name your instance to help identify it later.

  6. Save this content.

  7. Set any availability rules.

  8. Click Save and Close.

How does a clock app display the time location?

Clock app requires a time zone to work; if you are seeing the wrong location on your screen, please send a message to support@shiftplatform.tv.

How long is the Clock app shown for?

The Clock app is a static display, therefore it is shown on screen for 30 seconds.

Why doesn't my preview update when I make changes?

All options must be filled out before selecting Play in the player. You need to close the preview before making any changes to display accordingly.
